Apps: App submissions should comply with Wix App Market specifications. Applicants must sign our partner agreement.

Coding language: Applications may be built in any code you choose.

Fresh code: You can use APIs, open source libraries, sprites, wire frames and any design element that you want. You can also take an existing product that was not originally created for the Wix App Market and modify it. You are allowed to work on the concept for your App before the competition begins, and create digital mock ups and database entity diagrams. However, no production assets of any kind can be created until the official start of the competition period.

Ownership and IP: Teams have full ownership of everything they build at our events and are free to do with them as they wish.

Teams: Teams should have between one and four individuals. No more than four people will be allowed on a team. 

Hackers can come in pre-made teams or organize teams once they arrive.

Presentations: Presentations will start at 3:15 PM on Sunday, 9th November. You will have 2 minutes to present your App. After your 2 minutes are up, you will be asked to stop your demo, so please make sure you’re well prepared. 
The judges will then ask you 1-3 questions.

Submissions: Submissions are due by 3:00 PM on Sunday, 9th November.

Judges: We are looking for great Apps for the Wix App Market, and talent. Judges will be  looking for teams that can build completed prototypes and turn them into working products within 8 weeks.

Winners: Winners will receive amazing prizes. To be eligible, you must create a web App for the Wix App Market using Wix SDK. First-prize winners must have a current passport. 

Prizes: The Grand Prize winner will receive an all expenses paid 5 day trip to San Francisco to take part in an accelerator programme. Runners-up get iPad Minis, and second runners up will take home smartwatches. Each member of the winning teams, up to 4 people, will receive a prize.
